OUR SERVICES

We Love Serving Our Local Community

We are actively involved in our community, from volunteering at iServe Ministry events, participating with City of Hoschton events, serving our schools, to singing at Manor Lake, a local senior living facility. We are always looking for new opportunities to serve, recognizing that serving is a crucial component of discipleship!

Weekly Services

Worship at Center Pointe is warm, friendly, casual, and inviting. The CPC Band leads a mix of current, classic praise songs and ancient hymns. We believe in the importance of multi-generational worship and our youth remain with us in service (children go to class during message time). Our children are encouraged to participate through dance, the children’s message & serving opportunities.
Nursery is available.

Weekly services take place at 10:30 am every Sunday, generally ending around 11:45am.

Youth

Center Pointe Youth have a Sunday School class led by Dr. Lyra Griffiths at 9:00am on Sunday mornings.

Youth also participate in Worship On Wednesday, meeting for dinner at 6:00pm and group at 6:45pm – 8:00pm in the Fellowship Hall Youth Room. 

Center Pointe Youth participate in many aspects of our Worship Service.  They serve as Acolytes and Ushers, participate in our Worship Team, do praise dances and able to utilize their gifts as an integral part of the worship experience. 

Kids

CPC Kids stay in service with us until the message at which time they head to their downstairs classroom for a lesson, games, crafts or games that focus on building their understanding of God’s love for them.

Kids also participate in Worship On Wednesday, with meal at 6:00pm and class at 6:45pm in Children’s Room.

We also do regular family outings – Striper games, Braves games, Yellow River Wildlife Sanctuary outing and more.

Celebrate Recovery

Every Thursday night our C.R. meeting starts at 6pm with snack/fellowship time (meal on last Thursday of month) followed by Big Group meeting (6:30pm). A Men’s discussion group and Women’s discussion group follow Big Group meeting.

We have Step Groups on Tuesday night as well.

Pastor Mike Devine is truly blessed to be a part of Center Pointe. Mike’s originally from California, is recovering, plays guitar, and has an interestingly varied history! He is married to Kit since 1992. One of the clear themes of Mike’s ministry comes from #BeYou4Him. He believes each of us is created to be who we are, but to be who we are (using our gifts, graces, and talents) for God’s glory! God’s love is a powerful catalyst for change and he shares everywhere he goes.
