What We Believe
- The sixty-six (66) books of the Bible are the inerrant Word of God, inspired by God, and that the Bible is the final authority on all matters concerning a Christian’s faith and practice.
- God is one God in three Persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. They all are co-equal and co-eternal.
- All people are born with a sin nature they inherited from Adam and Eve. Because of this sin nature, all people are separated from God and destined to eternal damnation unless reconciled to God.
- God became a human in the Person of Jesus Christ. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin. He was both God and man, except He was without sin or a sin nature.
- Only the blood sacrifice of Jesus Christ can reconcile (save) a person to God. Through His death, He atoned for the sins of all who believe in Him for reconciliation, thereby reconciling them to God, becoming the born again children of God.
- Jesus Christ was resurrected from the dead, and then ascended into heaven and returned to glory; where He intercedes for all that believe in Him for reconciliation (salvation).
- The Holy Spirit indwells every Christian the moment they believe in Jesus Christ for salvation. The Holy Spirit becomes the ever- present helper for the Christian.
- In two Sacraments: water baptism (by immersion, infusion, or sprinkling) and the Lord’s Supper (Communion).
- In the Second Coming of Christ – that Jesus is coming back in glory for His people.
- That marriage is a sacred union between one man and one woman.
- That life begins at conception and that abortion should only be considered in extreme circumstances such as the life of the mother.
