OUR SERVICES

We Love Serving Our Local Community

We enjoy participating in our community, from volunteering at iServe Ministry events, City of Hoschton events to singing at Manor Lake, a local senior living facility. We are always looking for new opportunities to serve.

Weekly Services

Worship at Center Pointe is warm, friendly, casual, and inviting. The Center Pointe Band leads a mix of current & classic praise songs and ancient hymns.  We believe in the importance of multi-generational worship and our children & youth remain with us in service (children go to table and work on craft, art, or other fun thing after offering). Our children are encouraged to participate through dance, the children’s message & written materials provided.  Nursery is available for the entire service.
Weekly services take place at 10:30 am every Sunday

Youth

Center Pointe Youth meet on Wednesdays at 6:30pm – 8:00pm in the Fellowship hall. 

Kids

Center Pointe Kids participate in many aspects of our Worship Service.  They pass the basket, sing, do praise dances and are an integral part of the worship experience.  They stay in service with us, but during the message, they gather at a table to do a craft, drawing, or other fun item that connects to the sermon topic of the day.  We also do regular family outings – Striper games, Braves games, Yellow River Wildlife Sanctuary outing and more.

Special Events​

Center Pointe has a full schedule of events. There is always something good happening.

Celebrate Recovery

The program typically involves a weekly meeting format that includes a
large group session with worship and either a teaching or personal
testimony, followed by smaller, gender-specific, and issue-specific
discussion groups.

Benevolence

Pastor Mike Devine is truly blessed to be a part of Center Pointe. Mike’s originally from California, is recovering, plays guitar, and has an interestingly varied history! He is married to Kit since 1992. One of the clear themes of Mike’s ministry comes from #BeYou4Him. He believes each of us is created to be who we are, but to be who we are (using our gifts, graces, and talents) for God’s glory! God’s love is a powerful catalyst for change and he shares everywhere he goes.
